Samuel Onwubiko (born September 25, 1995), professionally known as Limoblaze, is a Nigerian Afro gospel, Afrobeat, and Hip-hop, gospel singer, songwriter, recording artist, and performer. At the age of eight, he began his musical career as a backup vocalist and member of a children’s church chorus. Since 2014, when he began his musical career as a professional independent artist, his songs and music videos have earned him increasing local and international fame.

Limoblaze Biography
Born to Samuel and Nkechi Onwubiko, he and his seven siblings, one of whom is deceased[2], are natives of Bende local government in Nigeria’s Abia state[3]. He and his siblings were born and raised in the state of Makurdi-Benue. At the age of eight, he discovered his musical talent and love for Hip Hop through the music of popular rappers such as Tupac, Eminem, 50 cent, and a range of other local and worldwide rappers. As he grew older, he continued to develop himself and compose his own lyrics. Eventually, he discovered the music of Christian rappers as Lecrae, the Ambassador, Andy Mineo, Da TRUTH, and Tedashi, among others. This decision led him to become an Afro gospel[4, Afrobeat, and Hip-hop gospel singer, composer, recording artist, and performer, where he believes he has found the spirit of God, which brings love, faith, and hope. During his studies in Biochemistry at the Federal University of Agriculture in Makurdi, Nigeria, he joined the Day Star Church[5], where his faith increased rapidly as he embarked on a journey to discover and teach the gospel of Christ around the world through his lyrics.
