Preye Odede is from the Nigerian state of Bayelsa. He was born on the 16th of June, 1990. He is the third of seven children. He graduated from Abia State University with a degree in microbiology.

As a child, he began singing in church. He later formed “Born2Praiz,” a band. He rose to prominence as a result of his hit single “Biko” was released in 2011, followed by his album “My Script”, released in 2012, which featured one of his most popular songs, “Ebezina.”
